The maximum operating voltage of the trimmer potentiometer is the maximum operating voltage allowed to withstand by the trimmer potentiometer which works reliably for a long time without damage under specified conditions, also known as rated working voltage.

The actual working voltage of the trimmer potentiometer is less than the rated working voltage. If the actual working voltage is higher than the rated working voltage, the power of the trimmer potentiometer will exceed the rated power, which will lead to the overheating damage of the trimmer potentiometer.
