The common band switch and the shift switch of multimeter are all rotary switches. There are two kinds of structures: one is BBM (Break Before Make) contact type. Its characteristic is that the moving contact first disconnects the front contact before it is connected and then the connecting point after it is disconnected. The other is MBB (Make Before Break) contact type. Its characteristic is that there is a moving contact during the transposition. A state in which both front and rear contacts are in contact. Then the front contacts are disconnected and the rear contacts are maintained in contact. In the circuit design, the appropriate rotary switch should be selected according to the circuit usage and circuit safety.
