The contact pressure on the resistor body should be kept uniform by positive pressure and the potentiometer can be operated smoothly within the whole range of continuous travel. Electrical and mechanical adjustment of the movable contacts should be maintained in continuous electrical contact with the lead-out Rui and should be insulated from the rotating shaft and the housing.
